Main collaborations

	SRL collaborates actively with ESA in two directions. In research, the lab have a very close collaboration with the Robotics and Automation Section in ESTEC. With this section, the lab has carried out some activities related to increase autonomous navigation in planetary exploration rovers. On the other hand, the SRL trains ESA engineers who have been involved in the doctorate program from the department that the SRL belongs to.
	SRL has been collaborating with DFKI in joint EU-H2020 research & innovation projects. As results of this close collaboration, both institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Bremen and Malaga. As part of this agreement, students can carry out joint supervised Ph.D. between both institutions.
	The Institute of Astrophysical of Andalusia signed a joint research unit (JRU) with the University of Malaga to support research and development activities con build a network of robotic telescopes. This collaboration is carried out by members of the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation and the Space Robotics Lab.. As results, different national and international projects have been granted to this JRU, and several high impact papers have been published.
