The María Zambrano Center for Transatlantic Studies is included in the internationalization plan of the ICE Andalucía TECH in 2015

The Board of Andalucía Tech gives the green light to the plan of action in order to foster international alliances and promote the collaboration between the public and the private sector in terms of entrepreneurship and employability.
The Board of the Andalucía TECH Foundation, the highest governance body and the representative organism of the foundation, has met in Málaga so as to approve a plan of action for the following year and keep track of the achievements of the Campus of International Excellence (ICE) in 2014. To this end, in the new stage of the project they are expected to work towards the recognition of the titles that are offered by Andalucía TECH, whose objectives are to promote internationalization throughout the relations with Asia. They will pay special attention to two flourishing projects: the María Zambrano Center for Transatlantic Studies and the alliance with the University of Berkeley (California Spain Campus).
Furthermore, the Samsung-UMA Tech Institute will organize new courses which are intended to achieve the stimulation of young employment and will develop a program of talent attraction for employability. On the other hand, they will put an emphasis on the promotion of research and innovation so as to fit the European parameters of the Horizon 2020.
The meeting has taken place at the headquarters of Andalucía Tech, located in the Centre for Innovation and Biocomputing of the University of Malaga, in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (Andalucia Technology Park). Representatives from the Universities of Malaga and Seville, the academic institutions of the ICE, have assisted to this meeting, along with the rectors, Adelaida de la Calle and Antonio Ramírez de Arellano, the stakeholders, the public and private entities that are the Foundation’s sponsors —AT4, Technological Corporation of Andalusia, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Endesa or Abengoa—.
