Welcome Ceremony
The School will hold the traditional Welcome Ceremony for new students on September 9th at 09:00 in the Assembly Hall.

Zero course
A "zero course" to revise mathematical contents will be offered for new students in the degree courses from 1 September to 9 September.
Beginning of classes
Classes will begin on September 9th, coinciding with the start of the first semester.
Official opening of the academic year
Although our classes begin on September 9th, the official opening day of the academic year in the University of Malaga is September 23th, which is set a non-teaching day.
Semesters
The first semester will begin on September 9th and will finish on December 19th.
The second semester will start on February 16th and will finish on May 29th.
Examination periods
First ordinary exam period
- First semester subjects: from January 8th to January 29th
- Second semester subjects: from June 8th to June 27th
Second ordinary exam period
- First semester subjects: February 4th to February 13th
- Second semester subjects: July 8th to July 17th
Extraordinary call
Only for students in their second or subsequent enrolment:
- First semester subjects: June 8th to June 26th
- Second semester subjects: January 28th to January 29th
Extraordinary end-of-studies call
Only for students in second or subsequent enrolment who meet the conditions required in the assessment rules:
- All subjects: from December 2nd to December 18th, in the afternoon and without suspending teaching activities.
Holidays and non-teaching days
In addition to national, regional and local holidays, the following are public holidays:
- School Day: February 27th
The following are also set as non-teaching days:
- Official opening of the academic year: September 23th
- St. Thomas Aquinas' Day: January 28th
- Christmas: from December 20th to January 7th
- Easter: March 27th to April 6th
- Summer: August 1st to August 31th
