Public-Private Partnership Project 2021-2025   CPP 2021-009117

INDUDECAM (Industrial Depth Camera) is a collaborative project comprising:

  • photonicSENS, which develops revolutionary 3D cameras with disruptive optoelectronic components. The objective (practically achieved a few months before the end of the project) is to prototype mixed cameras (image and depth) that achieve 3D measurement accuracy of less than one hundredth of a millimeter. It will also lead the integration of algorithms in a hardware and software environment for industrial automation.
  • The Ocean Engineering Institute at the University of Malaga (UMA) is responsible for the research and development of software algorithms. Its main task is to create advanced algorithms for the three-dimensional reconstruction of industrial parts with an accuracy greater than one hundredth of a millimeter. Its expertise in 3D reconstruction is considered unique and key to the success of the project.

The project is part of the call for grants for Public-Private Collaboration Projects of the State Program to Promote Scientific-Technical Research and its Transfer to the Market. These grants are co-financed with resources from the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
