The Telecommunications Engineering School attains the European Seal of International Quality in Engineering EUR-ACE
Four Bachelor degrees from the Telecommunications Engineering School are the first UMA degrees to attain this important seal of quality, one of the most prestigious in Europe
The European Seal of International Quality in Engineering EUR-ACE is an award granted to those high-quality engineering degrees in Europe, guaranteeing an excellent training according to the professional needs. It is awarded to degrees that meet the strict quality standards required by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), and constitutes an international recognition that facilitates both academic and professional mobility.
In Spain, the institutions authorized by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) to grant this seal of quality are the National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (ANECA) and the Institute of Engineering of Spain (IIE).
These institutions have only allowed the simultaneous evaluation of 4 out of the 5 degrees taught at the School. After a long evaluation process the School has attained the EUR-ACE seal for all the degrees evaluated:
- Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering
- Degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering
- Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering
- Degree in Audio and Image Engineering
The degree in Telematics Engineering will be presented in future calls, in order to be equally recognized as soon as possible with this seal of quality.
