Nueva Edición de Cursos de Otoño 2016 de la Fundación General de la Universidad de Málaga que se celebrarán durante el mes de noviembre y diciembre.
Estos cursos tratan de ofrecer al alumno una orientación profesional, de tal manera que les permita enriquecer su curriculum, satisfacer inquietudes personales y competencias profesionales. Esta edición se realiza de forma semipresencial; una parte online que se desarrollará en el campus virtual de la UMA y otra presencial donde el alumno participa de forma activa.Cursos de Otoño de 2016
- Matriculación: desde el 6 de septiembre, hasta una semana antes del comienzo de cada curso o hasta que se agoten las plazas.
- Duración: 25 horas semipresenciales (1 Crédito ECTS).
- Realización: desde el 31 de octubre hasta el 3 de diciembre de 2016
- Precio: 50 € Comunidad UMA / 70 € personal externo.
- Créditos: Diploma de la Fundación General de la Universidad de Málaga (FGUMA), con reconocimiento de los estudios a efectos de cómputo para la obtención de Títulos Universitarios oficiales en la Universidad de Málaga: en número de créditos aplicables a la carga lectiva de optativas de Titulaciones de Graduado, por la realización de actividades universitarias culturales: 1 Crédito ECTS.

Smart Specialisation represents the most comprehensive industrial policy experience being implemented in contemporary Europe and it is a cornerstone in the European Union effort to drive countries and regions out of the crisis and guarantee opportunities for growth for each and every one of its territories. Thanks to this effort, for the first time, public authorities and stakeholders across an area of more than five hundred million inhabitants are crafting their innovation policy according to a common set of principles and methodologies.
Conceived within the reformed Cohesion policy of the European Commission, smart specialisation is a place-based policy promoting economic transformation and investment in innovative activities in selected areas of the socio-economic system in order to achieve a smart, inclusive and sustainable growth.
The smart specialisation approach is characterised by the identification of strategic areas for intervention based both on the analysis of the strengths and potential of the economy and on a process of entrepreneurial discovery with wide stakeholder involvement. It embraces a wide view of innovation that goes beyond research-oriented and technology-based activities, and requires a sound logic of intervention supported by effective monitoring mechanisms.
This conference aims to take stock of the smart specialisation experience and assess its current state of the art both in terms of conceptual developments and practical implementation. It offers to a limited number of participants from academia, European Institutions and territorial authorities, a unique opportunity to discuss these issues, to define the scope and main avenues for future research and policy analysis, and to address the challenges confronting policy makers and practitioners.
The conference organisers are keen to attract papers that address the whole spectrum of topics, disciplines, and methodologies encompassed by the smart specialisation approach, including contributions from all areas of regional analysis with a link to smart specialisation.
As well as academic submissions, papers contributed by practitioners and by a combination of academics and practitioners are very much welcomed.
Papers reflecting on similar policy experiments outside Europe would also be welcome. There is a need to learn from best practice from all around the world to increase our understanding and knowledge. These papers may consider the especially acute problems of doing S3 in less developed regions and exploring the scope for inter regional mentoring and learning.
For all themes, exploring the opportunities opened by the smart specialisation approach, and the perspective it can afford as a policy framework, is desirable and will be highlighted. Themes of interest to the conference include:
- Smart Specialisation five years on
- Governance and policy processes
- Actors
- The urban, regional and trans-regional dimension
- European and territorial economic analysis
- Organisation of production and sectors
Submission of papers
Please submit proposals for papers in the form of a 400-500 word abstract (text only, no pictures, graphs or tables) through the Regional Studies Association online portal by Thursday 30th June 2016. Proposals will be considered by the Conference Programming Committee against the criteria of originality, interest and subject balance. El 30 septiembre más de un centenar de expertos visitará el centro de la ciudad para dar a conocer sus áreas de conocimiento, divulgar sus avances y acercar los pormenores del trabajo científico a los asistentes.
La Noche Europea de los Investigadores, evento promovido por la Comisión Europea y organizado en la capital malagueña por la UMA, integrará una amplia oferta de actividades, como experiencias científicas, microencuentros, conferencias, actuaciones musicales y recorridos guiados por el Museo Alborania, entre otras. La cita se celebrará simultáneamente en las 8 provincias andaluzas, en las que por quinto año consecutivo 13 instituciones científicas cooperarán para acercar la ciencia a la ciudadanía.

El próximo 28 de Septiembre de 2016, la Comisión Europea -"Directorates-General Research & Innovation (RTD), Mobility and Transport (MOVE) and Connect (CNECT), Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA)"- organizará en Bruselas un "infoday" para presentar el nuevo programa de trabajo 2017 para el reto H2020: Transporte Inteligente, Ecológico e Integrado.
El objetivo de este evento es informar a los potenciales participantes sobre la convocatoria de dicho reto social, así como sobre distintos aspectos relacionados con la evaluación de las propuestas y reglas legales y financieras de participación.
A continuación tendrá lugar en el mismo recinto, de 14:30 a 18:30, un Brokerage Event organizado por la red de puntos nacionales de contacto de transporte ETNA 2020 y coordinado por CDTI. En este evento se facilitará a los participantes que tengan una idea sólida y estén buscando socios para sus propuestas, la oportunidad de presentar sus organizaciones e ideas de proyecto a través de dos formatos:
- Breve presentación oral de 3 minutos máximo.
- Reuniones bilaterales entre posibles socios de 20 minutos máximo.
La inscripción a ambos eventos se realiza de forma independiente. Tened en cuenta que es obligatorio el registro al infoday para poder acceder al recinto donde se organiza el Brokerage event.

La Comisión Europea organiza el macroevento del sector TIC para Horizonte2020 de cara a la apertura de la convocatoria 2017-2018.
Este evento consiste en 2 jornadas de trabajo que incluyen presentaciones de líneas a financiar por los Project Officers, Stands de proyectos financiados donde se muestran los resultados, presentaciones de entidades buscando socios para sus proyectos, charlas magistrales sobre el estado del arte por ponentes de referencia….
The programme will include:
- Networking sessions organised according to the Pillars and Topics of the Work Programme 2016-17, where potential proposers present their project ideas;
- Information sessions including how to prepare and submit a proposal in H2020;
- Information stands which cover general and horizontal topics of the Work Programme 2016-17;
- A European Commission ICT information desk to supply information on the content and logstics of the event;
- Booths, organised by village, where European Commission officials provide information on the topics of the Work Programme 2016-17 and which serve also as meeting points for proposers interested in the same research and innovation topics;
- Ample space for informal networking and bilateral meetings between participants;
- Face2Face Brokerage event (run by Ideal-Ist), where you can sign up for short (20 minute) pre-arranged face-to-face meetings.

The European Commission is pleased to invite you to the 2016 Horizon 2020 info day onn 'Smart cities and communities' taking palce in Brussels.
The info day is mainly intended for potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under the 'Smart cities and communities' topic of the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work programme 'Cross-cutting activities', and in particular the 2017 call.
Presentations will cover the call content and the application procedure. A networking event will take place in the second part of the day.
