She is Ph.D. in Energetic Engineering at University of Perugia since 2013. Her main research activities are related to the study of energy production and efficiency in buildings, thermal and electrical loads management in buildings, Artificial Neural Network, electric power systems, Smart Grid, renewables and storage systems, Renewable Energy Communities, Smart City an mobility, energy economy, environmental impact of energy systems, electric vehicles, public lighting systems, lighting technology and innovative lighting systems (laser and LED technology).
