Pre-Information System Doctoral Studies at the University of Málaga
Both prospective doctoral candidates and enrolled doctoral students at the University of Málaga have access to a comprehensive, detailed, and efficient information system based on both web platforms and social networks. Below, we describe the components of this system and provide links to access them.
This is the main information platform where you can find access to the websites of the doctoral programs, the structure of the programs, procedures, regulations, theses with international mention and co-supervision, extraordinary awards, scholarships and grants, etc. The link to the websites of the doctoral programs allows access to the specific and detailed information that each doctoral program provides to interested parties and enrolled students. The page also dynamically displays highlighted links to points of interest, pre-registration deadlines, grant awards, calls, etc.
Website of the Doctoral Program in Legal and Social Sciences
On this page, both prospective students and those already enrolled in our program can see everything from admission requirements and criteria, pre-registration deadlines, links to pre-registration and enrollment, to the types of doctoral theses that can be done, the supervision and evaluation of doctoral students, the admission process for doctoral theses, the development of the thesis defense act, the research lines and professors of the program, the research projects of the professors, the material resources available, scholarships and grants, extraordinary doctoral awards, regulations, etc.
Virtual Campus for Doctoral Studies
The Virtual Campus for doctoral studies, which is only accessible to enrolled doctoral students, offers a platform whose resources can be used by the various programs for activities, information, providing materials, etc. On the other hand, the general coordination rooms contain materials of general interest and a series of forums that serve as an immediate communication channel between the Doctoral School and the faculty and students of the doctoral programs. By default, everyone is subscribed to these forums through which they receive announcements and calls.
Website of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social Studies and Work
The official website of the Faculty of Law of the University of Málaga, as well as that of the Faculty of Social Studies and Work, also contain links and information regarding our doctoral program.
Welcome
Every year, once students are enrolled in the doctoral program, the program coordinator organizes a virtual session with new students and tutors, to which other students, tutors, and directors are also invited. In this session, the doctoral program is presented, and it is explained in detail how the doctoral process unfolds from the moment a student enrolls until they apply for the thesis admission process, as well as any new developments introduced.
Personalized Attention by the Coordinator
The coordinator of the doctoral program attends to both candidates for the program, explaining the admission requirements and criteria, as well as the research lines of the program, and to doctoral students who request it. This information is provided both by email and in face-to-face meetings.
