APRORED

  • What is it?

APRORED born in 2006 as a local network of training and information ongoing as a result of the Framework Cooperation Agreement in community issues, including the Provincial Government of Malaga (Provincial Bureau of European Information-EUROPE DIRECT), The Jean Monnet Chair at the University Malaga (project Leader), Europa SA project Banesto Group (Euro Info Centre) and BIC - Euronova SA (European Center of Business and Innovation Malaga).

Born to provide to stakeholders in local development of the Province of Malaga the knowledge, skills and operational mechanisms required for the design, management and implementation of projects subject to financing funds from the European Union. And with the specific objectives of: configuring and provide practical knowledge to design projects and its correlation in the framework of structures and lines of action of the European Union; promote the generation of banks of specific and common project ideas for local development and implement ways and existing institutional resources for strategic implementation thereof; establish and foster public spaces to strengthen dialogue, debate and active citizen participation on the future of Europe, among others.

  • Planned activities:
    • VI Working Day APRORED: "ICT and agrifood business support".
    • VII Working Day APRORED: "Community-led local development (CLLD strategy)".
    • VIII Working Day APRORED: "Aids and specific tools for smart cities and the integrated and sustainable urban development".

SPRING EUROPEAN CLASSROOM (SEC)

  • What is it?

SEC was born in order to provide a high degree of quality and excellence in training on community issues, proposing a project for lifelong learning developed within the framework of a three-course program (one per year) whose main objective is to introduce knowledge about the construction process of the European Union and its operation, in general and the EMU, in particular. Its target audience is students, professors, researchers, professional groups, etc., but especially to an audience with a certain level of knowledge of economics.

  • Planned activities:
    • IV Specialization Course in European Union: "Profundización en la Unión Económica y Monetaria".
    • V Specialization Course in European Union: "Funding of the European Union 2021-2027 in the post-Brexit context".
    • VI Specialization Course in European Union: "International trade and economic relations of the European Union. The European Union's transatlantic trade and investment relations".

TELL ME YOUR EUROPE

  • What is it?

This is an educational innovation program in EU Teaching at the High School.  It consists of a series of workshops and lectures, symposia, and other appropriate pedagogical techniques, in order to promote and raise awareness among students of secondary level of education with aspects of the European Union: European citizenship, common currency, community geography, EU institutions or cultural diversity in the EU, among others. For three years, a summary day of activities in each year, to coincide with the celebration of Europe Day will take place. In order to develop the program has been signed a framework agreement between the University of Malaga and Gibraljaire Public School of Malaga.

TYE objective is to bring Europe to high school students through a process of educational innovation, where they are those who, through their own curiosities (induced by teachers, curriculum content, news, participation in activities), tell us the Europe that they see and live.
