On Saturday February 24/2018, the International Relations Office at the University of Malaga (through Welcome to UMA) in collaboration of the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud has organized a guided tour of the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba and of Malaga Museum.
We will be able to see the mixture of cultures that owns the city of Malaga and the wide artistic heritage of the province. We will spend a wonderful morning in the historic center of Malaga city.

On March 1th. the International Relations Office at The University of Malaga through Welcome to UMA Office has organized a master class “Taller de Flamenco” for international students.
Flamenco is one of the most characteristic elements of Spanish culture, especially throughout the southern region of Andalucía.
Flamenco dance is a highly-expressive, Spanish dance form. Flamenco is a solo dance characterized by hand clapping, percussive footwork, and intricate hand, arm and body movements.
At the master class we will have a professional flamenco dancer to teach the international students how to dance this traditional dance.

On Wednesday, Marxh 7th the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga (CAC) and the International Relations Office at the UMA through "Welcome to the UMA", organize a free guided tour for all the exhibitions hosted by the center. During the visit, the international students at UMA will have the opportunity to see the temporary exhibitions and they could also visit the permanent exhibitions hosted by the CAC.
There are limited places. Therefore, we will send a confirmation email to the selected students.

On February 15th at 17:00H, the International Relations Office through Welcome to UMA and Puente con Korea at University of Malaga, organizes a session of language and cultural exchange for the whole university student population.
The language exchange is designed so the local and international students have the opportunity to practice a foreign language.
Once the students register to participate, we group them with someone who is fluent or is a native of the requested language.
We will send a confirmation email to those selected students whohave been matched.
