Description: The mobility of doctoral students will be encouraged as another training activity with the aim of familiarising them with other research environments and getting them accustomed to the internationalisation of research. This activity is particularly important as it will allow the Ph.D. student to interact with other researchers and develop new techniques. Depending on the funding available, all doctoral students will undertake a three-month stay in a prestigious research center in another country to develop research topics related to their doctoral thesis. The thesis supervisor and, where appropriate, the tutor, must submit a reasoned report to the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme on the suitability of the center where the stay will take place, the subject to be developed, the length of the stay, and the funding of the stay. In addition to the funding of the Doctoral Programme's own research teams, the University of Malaga offers, through its "Research Plan", a series of grants and scholarships to promote mobility.
In the case of part-time students, the duration of the stay will be adjusted to the restrictions of the activity that justifies this dedication. This will be assessed by the Academic Committee of this Doctoral Programme on the basis of a report drawn up by the thesis supervisor and, where appropriate, the tutor.
