Transfer to society

With the aim of contributing to a more egalitarian and innovative higher education, the Research Institute for Gender and Equality (IGIUMA) develops and spreads studies regarding social build-up and manifestation of genders, as well as the eradication of inequality and violence based on gender distinctions. Also, from the desire of promoting equality of opportunities, IGIUMA has the objective of applying the knowledge to improve people’s life quality, and of participating in the culture and improvement of social harmony.
