Application for research stays at IGIUMA

Person interested must send an email to the secretary’s office of the institute (secrigiuma@uma.es) with a copy to the institute staff (manu.villalobos@uma.es, smrocio@uma.es) containing the following information:

  • Motivation, expectations and research project proposal.
  • Name and surname, institution (university and/or research), country, and program and/or agreement permitting mobility (if any).
  • Duration and period planned for the stay.
  • Brief CV indicating degree, study lines and knowledge concerning gender studies.

IGIUMA will start communications in order to find the most suitable tutor member to the applicant’s curriculum and expectations.

Each part agrees for the following obligations:

  • Applicant:
    • Communicate if the stay finally materialises.
    • Send the letter of endorsement with enough time in advance.
    • Include the research results during the stay at IGIUMA.
    • Tutor:
      • Welcome the applicant (first meeting) and perform their tracking.
      • Provide advice on their research and possible contacts.
      • Provide the applicant with the access to BUMA.
      • IGIUMA:
        • Accreditation of the applicant’s stay.
        • Provide the applicant with a work space and equipment.
        • Provide the applicant with access to UMA Wi-Fi network.
        • Include the applicant in the broadcast list during the stay.
