Prof. Ing. Ludek Zalud, Ph.D. - is head of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence group in Department of Control and Instrumentation, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology and head of Laboratory of Telepresence and Robotics in CEITEC, Czech Republic. His research topics: mobile robotic - reconnaissance robots for US&R, CBRN, radiation mapping, 3D spatial mapping, robot indoor & outdoor precise navigation, robot sensors, visual telepresence and augmented reality, multispectral data-fusion for telepresence and mapping; bioengineering - biofeedback, high-resolution multispectral scanning of human body parts.
