Program EB-UMA 25
The 4th International PhD-Student Conference on Economics and Business (EB-UMA 25) will be structured into several thematic sessions, organized according to the content of the papers submitted. Each session will feature PhD students presenting work-in-progress articles, preliminary results, or theoretical/empirical proposals that have not yet been disseminated through conventional scientific publication channels.
Sessions will take place over the two-day duration of the workshop, and each presentation will last 15 minutes, followed by a 10-minute discussion, aiming to foster academic debate, constructive feedback, and the improvement of the work presented.
As the contributions will be focused on ongoing research, the final program will be confirmed in the weeks leading up to the event, once the provisional titles and contents of the papers have been submitted and approved. The preliminary program will be organized around the following thematic areas:
- Applied Economics and Public Policy Evaluation
- Industrial Organization and Market Regulation
- Business, Innovation, and Sustainability
- International Economics and Development
- Quantitative Methods and Modeling in Economics and Business
Each block will include two to four presentations, grouped by methodological or thematic affinity, to ensure internal coherence within sessions and promote greater interaction among participants.
A final session for conclusions and closing remarks will be held, aimed at summarizing the most relevant contributions and identifying potential areas for future collaboration among the participating researchers.
